The river and glen around Balquhidder (6.5 miles) is steeped in history: the Balquhidder kirkyard attracts many visitors from around the world to see the resting place of the famous outlaw and folk hero Rob Roy. A range of water sports are available at Loch Earn only 8 miles away. When you have explored the beauty of the surrounding area take a daytrip to the major city of Stirling 25 miles away to indulge in art galleries, shopping, leisure and historic attractions.
