We had a great relaxing stay at The Up House and thoroughly enjoyed our week here. Would recommend if you want to get away from it all and have some quiet time - the view from the property is breathtaking.

The Uphouse was everything I had hoped for. The location was superb. The owners were delightful. A pity our dogs didn't see eye to eye but that's the way it goes sometimes. Perfectly situated as a base to visit Sandwood Bay and the surrounding area. If you want peace and quiet then this is definitely worth considering.

We had an amazing time at the cottage. A real escape from the grid. No internet, no people, no sheep, no landline phone, no running water on arrival and no power some days due to storms and extreme weather. It was perfect. The cottage was perfect for us and our very active dog. He and Lucy made friends straight away. The views are stunning in all weathers; the deer and birds come so close; and the quietness is bliss. Graham and Lynn could not be more helpful. As already booked elsewhere for next year we wont get back in 2024, but will in the future. Thank you for theRead more perfect stay. Hide

Beautiful remote setting. Very peaceful with lots of wildlife and starts on a clear night. The cottage was very cosy and well equipped. There is no internet - wifi or 4G, or phone signal, but this can be found when out and about. Bring bottled water. Our two dogs were very comfortable also.

Our second stay and as enjoyable as the first. A comfortable and warm cottage with a great view across the loch. The walk from the door gives good views of the mountains on a clear day, great for the dog. Plenty of walks and beaches close by.
