BEAUTIFUL RIVERSIDE RETREAT, CLOSE TO NORWICH AND THE NORFOLK BROADS

This stunning waterside property annex to the owners, has been delightfully furnished and offers amazing views of the river. Sit and watch the boats and wildlife pass by at a sedate pace, it is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax.

Located in the village of Brundall which has many amenities including pubs, shops, restaurants, bistros and takeaways. The property is ideally situated Norwich is a ten minute train ride from where you can explore the Castle, Cathedrals, many museums and indulge in some retail therapy. Further afield lies Wroxham the capital of the broads with its bustling high street and waterways. The Norfolk coast is a short drive along with the National Trust properties at Felbrigg and Blickling. Pensthorpe past home of BBC Spring Watch is also close by.

Guests arriving at this riverside retreat enter into a spacious, light and stylish open plan kitchen/diner/lounge, the kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and  hob and fridge with ice compartment. A dining area with table and chairs, welcome treats on arrival. The lounge has comfortable sofas and views out onto the decking and river, TV/DVD and CD player.  A double bedroom, the shower room comprises of a double shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin with vanity unit.

Outside: A raised decked area with garden furniture. Shared summer house with seating and BBQ overlooking the broads.

Additional info: There is a day boat available to hire between April-September.

This was our second visit to this lovely boathouse. Exactly as we remembered it. Very bright and spacious living area. It has a very comfortable bed and a powerful shower. We came this time to chill and that's exactly what we did. Lovely to watch the boats go by and to watch the wildlife especially the grey Herons, and the cheeky duck that came ontRead moreo the decking. This is a perfect property in an incredibly beautiful and peaceful situation.You can sit out on the decking and watch the boats go by and observe the abundant wildlife. Its stylish, spotless and has top quality fixtures and fittings. Theres the railway station and excellent pub just a few minutes walk away. Jim is an excellent host. It is the perfect location, on the waters edge, and easy access by train to Norwich and Great Yarmouth. The boat house is ideal for a relaxing holiday.

We had a wonderful week at the Boathouse. Accommodation clean and equipped with everything you need. Abundance of wild life on the river so take your binoculars. A good base for visiting Norfolk with Norwich on your doorstep. Would highly recommend a stay here.

The Boathouse provided the perfect accommodation for a week of rest and recharge. A beautiful location, with easy access to lots of attractions if required. Jim was the perfect host. We will definitely return!

2nd stay here. Its a beautiful property with every comfort you need. Just a shame that storm Babet decided to come on our last day and the A47 was flooded and we were unable to leave. Fortunately for us the cottage wasnt booked so Jim very kindly let us stay longer until we were unable to get through. If it wasnt for him we dont know what we would Read morehave done. We had a wonderful relaxing week. Jim the owner was great , he was close by so if we had needed assistance he was there. He gave us lots of useful information about the area and gave us recommendations of good restaurants. The Boathouse is positioned so you could just sit out and watch the boats go by all day, Lovely!!

As always the Boat House is a good place to chill and watch the world go by on the river. The surrounding area is interesting and we hope to be back for our 5th stay next year

Can highly recommend the Brundall Boathouse. Relaxing accommodation in an idyllic location, and within easy reach of Norwich, North Norfolk and the Broads. Welcoming host, flowers and bubbles were a lovely touch. Like many others reviewing and writing in the guest book at the property, we hope to return one day.

Lovely welcome from Jim and Truffle on check in day. The bungalow exceeded are expectations, so very clean and everything you need in the kitchen. The venue was clean, all the essentials where there. The views were great and it is very relaxing watching the boats sail by. There are few places to walk for the able bodied but walking is available nearby. The owner was helpful and friendly and he had left special touches like fresh flowers, a bottle of bubbly, DVD's and books.
