A short drive or a 3 mile walk away is Chipping Campden which offers a selection of independent shops, pubs and cafes, while also marking the start of the Cotswold Way. From here, keen walkers can set off on long walks through the Cotswold countryside, with the Heart of England way at the end of the lane passing pretty hamlets and villages along the way and joining the Cotswolds way in Chipping Campden. The local area is rich in culture and history, with Hidcote Manor just a short walk away and Sudeley Castle also within easy reach. A little further afield, Stratford-upon-Avon, Cheltenham which is famous for its festivals and horse racing , Warwick Castle and Banbury are all well worth a visit.
Inside, the cosy yet bright accommodation has been thoughtfully designed and laid out to make full use of the space available. The modern kitchen opens onto the garden via a pathway and is well-equipped with everything you should need throughout your stay, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Enjoy meals at the small table in the lounge/diner, before putting your feet up on the comfortable sofa or armchair and settling down for a cosy evening watching TV or DVD. There is a separate WC on the ground floor. Upstairs, the double bedroom is light and bright with a handy dressing area, TV and en-suite shower room with WC. There is is a cosy second single bedroom accessed from the main bedroom.
Outside, you will find a pretty private patio area set within the owners grounds with table and chairs overlooking a stunning cottage garden. The garden is lovingly maintained with wonderfully stocked bed and borders.
