This holiday property is very cosy and comfortable. A former blacksmith’s forge, it is now a lovely detached cottage at the edge of Brailles village. Upper Brailes is a characterful village with some fabulous walks originating from it. Visit the village website and consult Jim’s Walks which details up to ten different circular walks – most of these walks are dog friendly. Further afield, visit Banbury and Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Oxford and Bicester Village for shopping or sightseeing, and the RSC theatre is also within reasonable driving distance. The ancient market town of Shipston-on-Stour is great for antique shops, local pubs and eateries.
On arrival at the holiday property you will find an entrance hall leading through to the lounge/kitchen/diner designed to embrace open-plan living. The lounge area has a comfortable seating, a TV/DVD, and a wood burner to keep the room warm and cosy in the evenings. The kitchen area comes equipped with electric oven and hob, a microwave and fridge with ice box. Use of a washing machine can be arranged. The bedroom contains a king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as twin singles on request). There is an en-suite shower room with WC for convenience too.
Outside is a south-facing courtyard that can be an effective sun-trap, and is also ideal for that evening glass or two of wine, creating a great space for you to relax in the comfort of your own holiday home. Please note due to the location of this property a car is essential.
