Cadeleigh is close to pretty villages such as Bickleigh, which has the River Exe meandering through it and the popular mill that offers boutique shopping and artisan foods. There is endless beautiful countryside distinctively coloured with dark red soil, typical in this area, it is a scenic setting ideal for walking and all manner of country pursuits. There is much to see and do in the nearby town of Tiverton, which has a pretty canal offering boats for hire. Slightly further afield is the city of Exeter, with its wide variety of shops and restaurants. For history lovers Fursdon House and Gardens gives an insight into the heritage of the area.
This unique accommodation comprises of a hut and a lodge. Entering the lodge into the lounge area you are greeted with spectacular countryside views, a comfy sofa and TV/DVD. The kitchen area has all you need to cook a meal or whip up a snack with an electric oven and gas two ring hob, fridge/freezer and microwave, a breakfast bar provides a comfortable eating space and French doors open onto the sunny decked area. A few steps away is the shepherd’s hut with double bed with window on one side so you can wake up and catch the beginning of each special day, and there is a separate shower and WC a few steps away.
Stepping outside is a split-level decked area with private hot tub, garden furniture, charcoal BBQ and fabulous countryside views, after a day’s adventures what could be nicer than stargazing in the hot tub. There is a fully fenced lawn area below the shepherd’s hut ideal for your four-legged friend and off-road parking and turning area for two cars.
