Great location for sightseeing. Warm and comfortable cottage to come home to. Found the dining stools uncomfy (we both have back probs) and obviously didnt sit at them for long. The oven was rather quirky and we consulted the Internet for advice. A small dishwasher would have earned another star.

The cottage was easy to find, comfortable and clean, the small garden was a bonus especially with the dog, and the view was very relaxingit is in a great position for all the sights nearby, e.g. Holy Island, Bamburgh and Seahouses with their wonderful beaches You do however need a car as there is no pub nearby and you would need to drive into BelfoRead morerd or Bamburgh for that. There is a fairly well stocked shop at the top of the road for milk etc. I had a very good stay and would book again. Hide

We had a very relaxing break here. The cottage was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. The little garden was a bonus, particularly for the dog and we enjoyed watching the rabbits and hares in the field behind. It was a great base from which to explore the beautiful local area and we were happy to return at the end of each day to the quieRead moret calm of the cottage. Hide

Cottage lovely with beautiful views. The bed was very small with poor bedding. Pillows and duvet need replaced asap. The shower looks nice but not powerful unless you like a cold shower. Take your own bath sheets as towels small. Fridge door wouldnt close properly either. Shelve had to be removed in order for the door to close.
