Lovely cottage, beautifully situated. All questions / problems were very well taken care of by the Collin from the agency that looks after the cottage. The cottage is perfectly clean, except for some dog hair on the carpets. It being a cottage, that allows dogs, that of course can not be fully prevented. I have been to several cottages on the islanRead mored and Poppies is one of my favorite ones. We had been three times before more than a decade ago. That was still with previous owners. Hide

Poppies is a delightful cottage in a gorgeous location. We had views across the sea to the Kintyre peninsula directly from our lounge and bedroom. The sea shore is just the other side of a small road. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a village store just a mile away for essentials.

Great little cottage for two people and a dog. Fully enclosed private garden was lovely and the cottage is very well equipped, heated and comfortable. The stairs to the bedroom are narrow and the ceilings are low but this was not an issue for us once we adjusted to the environment. The kitchen was perfect and it was great to have a gas cooker. GeneRead morerally it was very quiet and peaceful but as this area of the island has lots of farming there was some early morning noise from quad bike etc. Hide

perfect place to stay. Close to the beach and hiking trails with enough privacy to make it feel remote. The cottage is spacious and would allow 2 people comfortably to stay there.

Definitely recommend this cottage in its peaceful location with no fuss but everything you need for a great break. Fitted out nicely with Smart TV and Wi-Fi. Very comfortable bed in a large airy upstairs bedroom with views of the stars from the sky light windows. Small but well appointed kitchen with everything you need. Good size living room with Read moredining table and chairs. For a small cottage it was just ideal for a quiet break away from everything. Perfect. Hide
