Situated midway between the Black Isle and the northern edges of Cairngorms National Park, this is a wonderful area for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and nature-lovers. Heading north from the property, you can visit the popular city of Inverness which has a fantastic variety of great pubs, restaurants and shops as well as attractions including Inverness Castle, the Botanic Gardens, St Andrew's Cathedral and Eden Court Theatre. Further along Moray Firth is the Victorian seaside town of Nairn, where you can take a stroll along the stunning beach. Heading west you can explore the famous Loch Ness. Other local places of interest include Culloden Battlefield, Tomatin Distillery and Clava Cairns.
Three steps lead up to the property with patio doors leading you into the spacious, fresh and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge has beautiful country views and is a lovely space for relaxing in, with plenty of seating, a TV and traditional wood burner. There's a useful breakfast bar and the stylishly designed kitchen is fully equipped with an oven and hob, microwave, washing machine and a fridge with an ice compartment. You will also find two cosy bedrooms – a double room with a TV, and a twin room, as well as a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC.
Going outside, you can relax and enjoy the views from the large garden which features an extensive decked area with plenty of outdoor furniture including a hand-built wooden picnic bench and outdoor draughts game. This is a great space to enjoy al fresco meals, a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The garden also features an abundance of wild birds, so it's a great spot for bird watchers. Ample parking is available on the driveway for two cars. Please note that there are horses in surrounding fields and dogs in the neighbouring house. Dogs must be well-behaved and kept on a lead when outside.
