Beautiful, cosy accommodation in a tranquil location on the shore of Loch Ewe. This was our second stay and every bit as good as the first. We enjoyed some lovely walks right from the cottage door as well as others from just a short drive away. We never tired of looking out over the ever changing view of the loch, watching a grey heron and a grey sRead moreeal fishing regularly and an otter briefly one evening, as well as a couple of stags grazing very early one morning. Would not hesitate to return. Hide

What a wonderful week we've had! Possibly the best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in - everything you could need. Lovely views, awesome sunsets and extra special to see otters in the water in the evenings!

Lovely property in a beautiful and peaceful location. A bit too remote for us as we discovered and unfortunately the weather was atrocious so we chose to leave after only 4 nights.

Third visit here in four years and it never ceases to attract due to its peacefulness. The property has literally everything visitors could want from picnic equipment, folding chairs and of course, the hot tub. There's a TV of course but evenings were spent gazing out of the doors at the wildlife on Loch Ewe. Watch for otters.

The Potager is absolutely gorgeous . So well equipped and a beautiful location. We see Otters and Seals right from the Lounge window and whilst enjoying the hot tub! We came away feeling very relaxed but equally could have stayed for a month! You could not be disappointed with this. Note if you go in winter months, most places are closed so you wilRead morel be doing the cooking every night. Great shops both in Poolewe and Gare Loch, however, with everything you could need food and drink. Stunning place! Hide

Knowledge of the disabled access suitability would be helpful. We believe the owners have previously asked for this to be highlighted. Fortunately the owners were very accommodating in changing our booking from the Write's Retreat to the Potager.

We have just returned from a week in the Potager. This was the most well situated, well equipped and comfortable place. It was warm and cosy, the hot tub was ready for our arrival and the owner was quick to come over and introduce herself. We were made to feel very welcome. Just sitting in the lounge or on the deck you will see so much; otters, seaRead morels, eagles, oystercatchers, curlews and magnificent skies. also so peaceful with only a few cars passing by (in April at least) an hour. Perfect. Hide
