Set within the picture-perfect rolling green hills of Summerbridge in Nidderdale, this apartment offers a peaceful getaway to the Yorkshire Dales.  This is a fantastic area for enjoying glorious walks and bike rides, with bike hire and bike tours available locally.  Nidderdale is the perfect spot for a tranquil retreat, offering an outdoor playground for walkers and cyclists.  The cosmopolitan town of Harrogate, home to a number of attractions, shops, eateries and pubs, sits just a short drive away, offering the perfect blend of countryside and city if you wish to venture that way. Be sure to check out the Turkish Baths, RHS Garden Harlow Carr and the Royal Pump Room in Harrogate for some sightseeing to remember.

Head through the front door into the hallway, and into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area, with comfy seating,  smart TV and a wood burner, is the perfect spot to relax with some quiet time after a long day so you can cosy up on the sofas with something good on the TV. Heading through to the kitchen area, prepare a meal in the well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, 'Nespresso Vertuo' coffee machine and microwave. The dining area seats four, ideal for catching up with friends or family nearby. Heading upstairs to the first floor, is the sleeping accommodation. The master bedroom is a large double bedroom with large picture windows looking towards the owners’ woodland. Completing the first floor is the bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Venturing outside to the garden, you will find a seating area perfect for dining alfresco, and 29 acres of the owners’ woodland to explore, ideal for dog walking. There is off-road parking for one car directly outside the property and additional parking available behind the property.

An absolutely fantastic place. Well equipped, cosy and in a wonderful location. Will be recommending it to friends and family. Where else can you watch deer in the woods from the bedroom window.

We stay in cottages regularly & this was the worse. So noisy with the busy road bang outside the window. No care or attention for our welcome , shoddy towels . Kitchen was well-equipped. It was just obvious this is an income source not a caring business . We will not recommend or return

The Owl retreat suited me very well. I wanted somewhere where I could 'get away from it all' for a couple of weeks. It was clean and comfy and I was impressed at how easy it was to operate the hob, cooker and microwave. Sometimes I struggle with these! And I LOVED your wood. How I wish I had one in my back garden. It was a real treat. They say it iRead mores very therapeutic to walk in a wood and I can certainly vouch for that. A wonderful restful holiday. Many thanks Ms Helme. Hide

Great cottage and location plenty to do in and around the local area. Having the woods at the back is a great asset and sitting out there in the evening was a perfect end to the day

Nice clean modern barn with all necessities, nice view of field & wildlife. 2 mins drive to Brimham Rocks. Only downside is that its situated on a steep road which was quite busy & as the shared garden was not secure we werent able to sit outside & let dog off lead. Unfortunately this wasnt made clear on website. We walked to nearest pub approx 1.5Read morem; locals really friendly, road back was very dark and on a hill so take a torch & make sure youre fit enough to walk the bank. Lovely stay had! Hide

Access to the private woodland for safe, livestock-free walkies is a definite highlight of this cottage for dog-owners. Were runners/hikers and the location was perfect with The Nidderdale Way in easy reach. Weve stayed in better equipped/cosier places, however we were perfectly happy & comfortable here for our stay. The property was lovely, had everything we needed and more. Beautiful views and a very pretty and friendly village and surrounding areas. Great places to visit all within reach. Only thing missing was a local pub. The closest one in Dacre didn't do food this week 11th-18th Aug!!
