A lovingly maintained family cottage on the outskirts of the village. Benefitting a fantastic rear garden, with views from the front of the house of the countryside, this really is a wonderfully located cottage for a relaxing holiday. The nearest village is a short walk away where you will find a sweet local village shop and pub. Nestled between Bembridge and Seaview you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to selecting the destination for your beach day. The larger seaside towns of Ryde and Sandown are only a short drive away. Wonderful walks can be enjoyed through the large, open National Trust area, which commands some of the loveliest views on the island. Also stop by Osborne House and the yachting town of Cowes east and west with their long promenades and the expansive Parkhurst Forest, a haven for red squirrels.

Immediately as you pull up to this cottage, you are instantly taken in by the breath-taking location, just on the outskirts of St Helens, on a pretty country road, you truly are in the heart of the countryside, endless walks right on your doorstep. The entrance hall is an inviting space to hang your coat and store your wellie boots. The cosy lounge, complete with wood burner and TV/DVD, this is the perfect place to sit and relax of an evening, whilst the wood burner flickers. The kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge and freezer, sits behind the lounge where you can cook up a storm. The Sun room is just off the kitchen and is the perfect place to sit and enjoy the views of the rear garden and the rolling green lands towards the front of the house. Heading up to the first floor is where you will find the bedrooms, a king and a small double, along with the cosy cottage shower room with shower cubicle and WC.

The fabulous enclosed rear garden, accessible from the sun house, is the perfect space for families to enjoy the sun. A simply stunning location, with wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. Off-road parking can be found at the rear of the cottage.

The cottage is lovely, with comfortable furniture in the living areas and well equipped kitchen.. The beds are very comfortable with quality linen. It has an attractive garden room with another sofa and binoculars. The garden is well kept with a lawn, plants and garden furniture. Its very safe for pets and children. This is such a quaint well maintained cottage, but with mod cons. All that you need was there with more. Booklet on table had a vast amount of info for places to visit, things to do and emergency procedures. A great thought was given into producing this booklet. Well done. A lovely well equipped cottage near to St Helens, the RSPB reserve and local superstore. With dogs in mind, towels, throws , treats and bowls were provided. Good pubs and Chinese restaurant in Bembridge .

Carpenters Cottage was just delightful. It was beautifully decorated, in neutral colours and colourful cushions. It was very comfortable, the beds were lovely, a great nights sleep. Lovely welcoming cottage situated in a perfect spot for visiting all the attractions of the east of the island. From the pretty garden ,well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge and bedroom, everything was perfectly catered for guests including saggy tail ones. We would recommend Carpenters to anyone seeking the perfect base for an island visit.

We had a great holiday at Carpenters Cottage. A beautifully presented house, ideal for a holiday. The flowers, cake, wine, dog biscuits and dog towels were a lovely surprise and much appreciated. The sun room was a great favourite. Set opposite a beautiful nature reserve, wellies needed, and not far from town. We walked down to The Duver at St HeleRead morens many times and enjoyed a bacon roll at the Baywatch Cafe. Ganders restaurant is ideal for a special meal or The Vine Inn for a pub lunch. Hide

We had a very comfortable stay at the cottage. It is well equipped and the decor and furnishings are of a very good standard. It was also a very nice surprise to be greeted by a home made cake, wine and tulips. We will definitely book again on our next visit to the island.

Really comfortable and pretty cottage, tastefully decorated and complete with everything you could need. Really thoughtful touches for visiting doggies too, like a throw for the sofa and towels for wet or muddy paws. There was even a jar treats. We loved the wood burner and the beds were very comfortable. Thank you. We will definitely return.

Spent 7 days at the cottage and felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. The garden was beautiful and really safe for the dogs. Theres a gate at the side to separate front and back garden so no worries there! The cottage did not disappoint. It was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. Secure garden was great and ample safe parking at the rear of the property compensated for being on a busy road. Well presented and equipped cottage in a good location with easy, off-road parking. Footpath directly opposite to the lovely RSPB Brading Marsh reserve. The dogs loved it and so did we. Shame we only had 5 nights to spare!

Lovely cottage, extremely well equipped. Rear garden is enclosed which was good for our young dog. Cake, wine and several fresh indoor flowers a lovely touch. We really enjoyed our stay.
