You can enjoy a stroll through the woodlands of Buckholt, in springtime there are bluebells and in autumn, magnificent golden beech trees. The village of Cranham is at the bottom of the valley, you can savour a lazy lunch in the pub or push yourself with a circular walk to Sheepscombe. The Cotswold Way is also accessible, where you can see the famous Cheese-Rolling hill, enjoy the views from Painswick Beacon or have a relaxing afternoon tea in the village of Painswick. There are many other places to explore, along with Cheltenham famed for the Gold Cup and Literature Festival, the Stroud Saturday food market and Cirencester, to spend a day in the shops.
Enjoy the grounds of this country home before you climb the stairs to the first-floor Mews apartment, offering a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner that has been beautifully finished. The lounge/diner is a great space to relax in after a day walking and exploring, with comfortable sofas, TV/DVD, a small library of good reads, board games and an iPod dock and speaker where you can enjoy your own playlist. The Velux windows offer woodland views with deep windowsills and a set of binoculars for spotting the local wildlife. A small table and chairs are set to the side which is perfect for two to enjoy a meal together. The kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. So, when the day is done, you will find to the rear of the apartment a bedroom with a super-king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as a twin on request) offering a peaceful night’s rest, also with a TV. There is a shower room with walk-in style shower and WC.
