Set in 200 acres of Herefordshire farmland where you can leave the car behind and enjoy the local foot paths from your front door. The Herefordshire countryside is beautiful throughout the year: the Wye Valley Way offers river walks and golden valleys in Autumn, and the Forest of Dean rich with bluebells and snowdrops in the spring. For cyclists you can join the National cycling trail and the country lanes or venture into the Forest for a slightly more challenging terrain; and in summertime why not hire a canoe and take time to enjoy the River Wye. A trip to one of the many market towns is a must where you can pick up local produce from a farmers market or browse the independent shops.
Enjoy the views across the paddocks as you take the path to your shepherd’s hut, set within your paddock where you can start to unwind and enjoy your stay. The shepherd's hut has been beautifully finished with carved wooden cupboards and gingham curtains to frame the wooden windows. There is a wood burning stove to keep you warm, a bespoke finished kitchen area with electric oven and hob and fridge freezer. A small table and chairs perfect for a simple supper. The double bed is raised and built in, a cosy space with views onto the countryside and a TV for a rainy day. A pretty wooden wardrobe with bathrobes and carved doors is great for storage. There is a separate hut that offers a spacious shower room with shower and WC.
Outside is your private, large and enclosed space where you can relax, a hot tub sits next to the hut where you can enjoy soaking after a day exploring or simply enjoy the night skies. There is also a summer house which stores a BBQ for summer dining. There is a table and chairs for two carved from a log Further with a fire pit so you can enjoy sundowners whatever the season. There is bike storage and parking for two cars.
