Thank you for a lovely stay in a charming cottage in a beautiful and scenic location. The cottage is well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable holiday, if not a bit dated and in need of a thorough deep clean. It was very handy having the Co-op just a 5 min walk away, and the lovely Hay-On-Wye town just double the distance. Lower Moor Lodge was a delight! The location to the town was perfect, with the most wonderful views from the garden. Parking is off road, and the co-op is literally a few minutes walk away. The furnishings are well loved, but so comfortable! I would not hesitate to return or recommend to a friend!

Perfect. In a rural setting amongst beautiful fields and also 2 mins walk from a big coop and very short walk up the road or through fields to Hay town centre. Best of all worlds. Will be staying again for sure. Thank you.

A perfectly located, cosy cottage with great access to Hay on Wye but in quiet countryside. Friendly owners who were incredibly helpful during our stay.

We spent a great week at this beautiful cottage. The location was perfect and the cottage was comfy and well equipped. I loved the old world charm of this cottage and the fact we could walk out into fields was great, something the dogs loved. A short walk to town and the river, but comfy to stay in on rainy days. Thank you

A really delightful cottage, full of character and in a lovely spot. Next to the cottage is an avenue of oak trees that used to lead to the big gothic house the lodge was the gatehouse for (sadly long since demolished). This was a perfect location for us. Very peaceful, apparently remote, yet close to a supermarket and within walking distance of 20 bookshops.
