Set above the town centre, this comfortable first floor apartment has good access to a great selection of bars, cafes, restaurants, shops and amenities. A stroll through town leads you to the golden sandy beach or access to the Swanage Railway (heritage steam and diesel train service) and sports facilities of the Beach Gardens (tennis, putting and outdoor bowls). You can take in the spectacular landscape that this area is renowned for through short or long walks, including on the South West Coast Path, directly accessible from the apartment. Swanage is the eastern gateway to Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. Nearby Durlston Country Park is well worth a visit and is home to a beautiful Victorian Castle with a cafe and restaurant, as well as being a national nature reserve. A short drive away, the spectacular beaches of Studland Bay are owned by the National Trust and include the most popular naturist beach in the UK. Historic Corfe Castle can be found some 5 miles north west and is home to the much photographed castle ruins and many quaint streets, or head 7 miles west to Kimmeridge and try out rock pooling and snorkelling. There are a variety of golf courses in the area which welcome non-members, including the Isle of Purbeck and Wareham golf clubs.

A communal entrance hall gives access to a shared staircase, which leads to this first-floor apartment. On entering the property, you are met with an inner hallway with the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner immediately to the right. This light and bright space is well equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. There is room to dine just opposite and the wonderful bay window offers fabulous distant sea views whilst you enjoy leisurely meals. An inviting sofa and a TV with Blu-ray player make this the perfect spot in which to unwind. Just next door is a cosy bedroom, with a small double bed and large picture window looking out over the rooftops to Swanage Bay. Opposite is a bathroom with bath and WC. Completing the accommodation is a charming double bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC.

Heading outside from the main communal entrance you will find an area of garden dedicated to the property. This garden has a picnic table, ideal for relaxing outdoors, eating al fresco, whilst taking in the views of Swanage Bay and the Purbeck Hills. To the rear of the property is an off-road parking space for one vehicle and further roadside parking can be found to the front (subject to availability).

Second stay for us here. Very comfortable, great views. Right on the doorstep of Durlston Country Park. Be prepared for a good uphill walk from the town centre!

Superb location so long as you are fit and enjoy a steep walk. Coastal path only 5 minutes away. Short walk down the hill to town. Swanage is great. Staff in restaurants, shops and even amusement arcades are really friendly and helpful. Sea fishing great fun. Boat trips also fun. The flat itself was comfortable and well equipped.

My daughter and I had a really great week in purbeck view. Ideal location for Studland, corfe castle and round the corner from Durlston country park. Swanage a 10 min walk. The flat is light and sunny. It is well equipped. Beds are very comfy. We enjoyed the week and would definitely go back as there are more walks and visits we would like to do.

This is the 2nd year at Purbeck Vista for us. We returned because we liked it so much. Lovely views from the windows. We love the Downs and Durlston Country Park and the restaurant at the Castle is excellent.

Lovely location close to pier and Durlston Country Park. Steep walk up to property which might be a challenge to some but we are in our seventies and were able to manage the hill.

What a great find ! Perfectly located for us ,we are rock climbers so really couldn't be nearer to the Lighthouse and sea cliffs there , but also the town and beach are a only short walk away. The flat was immaculately clean, warm and very comfortable , particularly the beds. Very quiet area / road , with a choice of off on road parking . A great location (Provided that you are able to walk up a steep hill from the town) Perfect for walks, the town and beach. A very comfortable and well equipped lounge/kitchen with a nice view. The second bedroom is small for a double but has a lovely large window with a view. The first bedroom is spacious but with a small window.

A key attraction is the view, and one person sitting to the right of the table can enjoy it during meals. The location is perfect with easy access to the Country Park and the town centre. The property is in a great location, close to Durlston Country Park, the beach, shops and eateries. Beautiful views of the beach can be seen from the open plan living/dining area and both bedrooms. A well equipped and comfortable flat on the first floor with a great view from the front bay window of the sea and across to the headland and Harrys Rocks. Flat was clean and the location is great for local walks and access to the town. Plentiful parking on the road outside.

A lovely location and fantastic views of the bay every morning which really made our week. Spacious and comfortable plenty of coat hangers often a problem! Beds were very comfortable and great to have a large fridge freezer as well that was important to us as was the washing machine. Would certainly stay again !

The property purbeck vista is a lovely property. The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable. The views are amazing from every window just lovely to sit back and look out at. Parking is very good. And lovely walks surrounding the property. We will definitely visit again.

Great view. Close to town centre although the hill will make you fit if you're not. Durlston Park is on the doorstep so no car needed for a visit. Area was nice and quiet in June. Parking on road was easy, rear access to off road parking was very uneven and not tarmac. We'd happily stay again.

We had a lovely week in a perfect location. Lots to do in the area without using the car. Recommend the boat trip from Swanage to Poole and visiting Brownsea island was a highlight for us.
