The property is situated in a rural spot within rolling countryside on the outskirts of the Peak District National Park. There are many quiet footpaths within walking distance of the property. The market town of Ashbourne is within driving distance and with its narrow cobbled alleys, it is somewhat of a haven for antique hunters, boasting superb shops, as well as a variety of good pubs and restaurants. Sudbury Hall and the Museum of Childhood is very close by and offers a fascinating insight into days gone by. The Dove and Manifold Valleys are also nearby, and both Carsington Water and Alton Towers are within a short drive, making this a wonderful location for relaxation and enjoyment all year round.
Situated next to the owners' home but with privacy in mind, the accommodation is reached via a flight of external steps to the first floor. Leading through from the hallway into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, the first thing you notice is the beautiful rolling countryside views from each window. In the lounge area, relax into the comfortable sofas with a good book or put your favourite programme on the Smart TV. Rustle up a hearty meal in the immaculate kitchen which offers everything you need including an electric oven and induction hob, dishwasher, fridge, boiling water tap and washing machine. Also on this floor, you will find a super-king-size bedroom and a wet room with shower and WC and wonderful countryside views. Heading downstairs to the ground floor, there is a conservatory with sweeping glass windows and ceiling, where you can relax with your loved ones, whatever the weather.
Outside is the private hot tub which is surrounded by a beautiful awning that can either be open or covered depending upon the weather. There is a private gym facility to use during your stay. On balmy days, make use of the outdoor dining furniture to enjoy an al fresco meal or evening drinks with good company. There is off-road parking for two cars.
