An excellent and well equipped property in an ideal location for exploring the Lakes. We even made it to Scotland (only 36 miles). Only a short drive to Maryport where we were fortunate to be able to watch their annual carnival. The aquarium is well worth a visit. A very enjoyable 2 week stay.

This is a great cottage with everything you could need. Views out towards the village & scotland to the front. And from the huge and well appointed main bedroom you can see out towards the lake District fells. The village and it's two pubs are a short distance away with the coastal path stretching from there north to Silloth or South towards MarypoRead morert. The wet room in the cottage is boon for those with mobility issues, though you may need to bring a shower seat. Hide

A very well equipped and comfortable cottage in a rural setting next to used farm buildings. Sheep and cows in fields all around. Quiet and peaceful. Allonby is about 3/4 mile away. We didn't find any footpaths to the town and the road isn't ideal for pedestrians. The road ends in 6'6" gap between 2 houses. All on the ground floor with a ramp and dRead moreouble doors, and a wet room as the 2nd bathroom. Hide
