A chic single-level cottage set in the picturesque village of Crayke, it is dog-friendly and the ideal location for a peaceful and relaxing holiday for a couple or a family. There are plenty of walks from the doorstep, including a half-mile walk into the heart of picturesque Crayke village with a popular pub. Less than 3 miles away you’ll find the popular market town of Easingwold, full of history dating back to the 12th century. The town offers plenty of shops to browse and cafes to relax and watch the world go by. No visit to North Yorkshire would be complete without a trip to York, which is 13.5 miles away, including the impressive Minster, castle, and city walls. North Yorkshire is also home to magnificent country houses, and Castle Howard (14 miles) is a must-see attraction and the starting point for some lovely walks in the Howardian Hills National Landscape.

An outside seating area, complete with garden chairs and a table, makes the perfect place for enjoying a morning brew on fine days. The lovely terrace overlooks the grounds and surrounding fields.

Blossom Cottage is modern, clean and in a great location for visiting York, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Robin Hood Bay, Helmsley and Scarborough. It has two bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite. I would say it would be a little too cosy for two couples unless you knew them well but ideal for a family of four or a couple. Cannot fault this cottage -Read more really lovely. Hide

Cottage was to a high standard right through and extremely clean. 2 x great bathrooms, one with extra large bath and the other with a large shower head. Cozy King size bed in main bedroom. Great quiet location. Around 2 miles to Easingwold and about 20 mins by car to the park and ride to York. A big thank you to the Swans who although they live on Read moresite give you your own privacy and go above and beyond with the extra little touches that you find in the cottage on your arrival. Blossom cottage did not disappoint was spotlessly clean extremely well situated we have hired various cottages/bungalows over the last 10 years and I can honestly say this is one of the best if not the best it is a credit to the owners and will be returning

Utterly perfect holiday. The property is lovely, just the right size, well maintained and v clean - plus there is ample parking. Owners live on site and are v helpful and friendly. Finally the location is perfect, both for York and also for exploring farther afield We will definitely be back!

Lovely complex of dog friendly cottages in a quiet location. We stayed in Blossom Cottage which was clean and comfortable with parking outside. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and left a much appreciated welcome pack. Beautiful cottage in a peaceful setting with lovely owners. Our toddler loved having sheep and cows to see just outside. Really good location with so many lovely things to do just a short drive away.

Lucy and her family gave us a warm welcome. On hand, but also allowed us our privacy. A lovely balance. The cottage was spotless, lovely bedding and comfy beds and a good kitchen, dinning, lounge space. We enjoyed our evenings in, with excellent cooking facilities to enjoy a meal. Bathroom facilities were excellent - we especially loved the extra lRead moreong bath. The cottage has beautiful surroundings and we enjoyed trips out to York and the East Coast so great location. A beautiful property in a great location and the proprietors were on hand but no need to raise anything with them. The standard of the furniture and the kitchen equipment was of high quality.

This is a beautiful cottage in an excellent, quiet location. Easy access to York and the surrounding areas of North Yorkshire. The pub in Crayke was excellent for a meal. Great walking tracks around the village.

Great place to stay. Very clean and well equipped. Great location for exploring the area, very handy for visits to York and lots of things for children to do nearby. Some nice walks nearby, including across the fields into the village.

Blossom Cottage has been beautifully renovated with quality fittings and finishes. The linen was top quality. A very interesting and lovely part of Yorkshire with good restaurants close by. We highly recommend.
