Follow the steps up to the garden and open the door to find a reception hall, with storage for outerwear and access to the rest of the inviting accommodation. Wander on through into the lounge/kitchen/diner, with its wooden floor, vaulted ceiling and revealed woodwork. Choose a DVD from the selection then settle on the sofa to watch a film or switch on the satellite TV. Find a book to read or puzzle to complete or simply take in the fell views to Latrigg. Discover the modern kitchen area close by which has an oven, induction hob, microwave, a fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Make yourself a cup of tea or pour yourself a glass of something from the welcome pack; then start thinking about dinner. Prepare a romantic meal to enjoy together at the table. Further on in the cottage is the stylish bathroom, which has a shower, bath and WC, then the bedroom, with its king-size bed and distant mountain views to Grisdale Pike and the Coledale Horseshoe.
