A lovely, restored cottage set within castle grounds, with contemporary style, a cosy wood burner and views over the lake. A perfect romantic hideaway.

This cosy cottage is located in the grounds of Drummond Castle, just 3 miles from the pretty market town of Crieff where you will find a lovely selection of independent shops and restaurants. There are several distilleries in the area - why not book a tour or tasting session and enjoy a dram or two? You are ideally situated for exploring both the Trossachs and the Cairngorms from here; head out and conquer one of the 282 Munros which Scotland has to offer. For keen mountain bikers, there are lots of bike tracks in the area to discover. However, you may find you cannot tear yourself away from this perfect spot, so why not head to the stunning Castle gardens, where you have complimentary unlimited access during your stay.  Described as the best example of formal terraced gardens in Scotland and Europe, these impressive grounds date back to the 17th century.

This pretty country cottage has been lovingly restored and offers the perfect escape for a couple looking for some time away from day-to-day life. As you enter the cottage you will find yourself in the hallway, leading to a spacious, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a wood burner. The dining table in the window offers views over the pond as you enjoy your breakfast or evening meal. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric hob and oven and integrated fridge. Along the hall you will find the shower room with a large walk-in shower, WC and bathrobes. At the end of the hallway, you will find the spacious king-size bedroom: a tranquil place to relax and unwind.

To the rear of the cottage, you will find a lovely sunny decked area which is reached by a number of low-rise steps. Its elevated position gives you a peek across the woodland and countryside. There is a charcoal BBQ and seating to make the most of summer evenings, read or make plans for the rest of your stay. There is private parking for one car to the side of the cottage.

Great place and glad to recommend. The Wee Bothy was spotless and comfortable for a couple. The castle gardens, which we visited most days are a joy (even in early autumn). The Bothy is in an ideal location to visit Perth, Sterling and Edinburgh, and we did all three. Thanks Claire and the team. and thankyou for the welcome pack.

Beautiful location & warm and cosy bothy, we loved every minute of our stay. The wildlife & the scenery were perfect & the added bonus of Hectors company kept us entertained. I have no complaints. I came in a wheelchair, i didn't use it in the house but used in castle grounds & out & about. Lovely wee holiday cottage. The best equipped that we've stayed in. The owners have decorated and furnished it to a high standard and thought of everything. So quiet & peaceful and lovely to see red squirrels, deer and the resident peacock.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wee Bothy, the place was immaculate and really warm even without the log burner on! So many things to do in the area and the scenery and walks were fantastic. Having access to the castle gardens was a real bonus as they are a sight to behold. Well definitely be back and thanks Clair for your help. 5 stars.

We enjoyed our stay at the Wee Bothy, although the weather wasn't kind to us. Very peaceful and tranquil setting. Well worth a visit to the beautiful gardens in the Drummond Castle estate. Lovely to watch the swans and ducks from the cottage window. On arrival we were grateful for the hamper containing bread, butter, milk, biscuits and soap, etc.

We absolutely loved the Wee Bothy. The location was perfect. Peaceful and tranquil. Very quiet at night, which really helped with relaxation. It was a cosy cottage and the outlook was wonderful. The wildlife that appeared was magical. We saw deer, buzzards, swans, ducks and were entertained by cows. To be able to access the beautiful gardens at DruRead moremmond Castle was a real bonus, a wonderful extra dimension. We also had wall-to-wall sunshine!! I would highly recommend this cottage. Hide

The Wee Bothy is the most perfect place for total rest and recuperation. It has been beautifully renovated, of the very highest quality. We had a super relaxed stay at the Wee Bothy all you hear are the birds, great WiFi, good selection of TV to entertain, close to town with good walks not forgetting Drummond Castle Gardens and the peacocks!! Claire was very welcoming and couldn't offer anymore help. The welcome pack was lovely also the underfloor heating was really good if you wereRead moren't in the mood for lighting the log burner. This is an ideal destination for a break for two. The Wee Bothy has everything a couple could need. It is finished to an exceptional standard, and perfectly luxurious. Cannot recommend highly enough.

A perfect wee cottage for a quiet, relaxed break. Very well appointed in lovely surroundings. Especially enjoyed the Tunnocks Tea Cakes & inhouse board games - Stramash was a favourite! A good base for sightseeing & walking too.

The Wee Bothy is a perfect remote cottage for a quiet stay away from it all. Made a perfect New Year for us with a sprinkling of snow & ice. We had magical walks in the estate, beautiful night skies & peace.
