Located on the owner’s working farm in picturesque surroundings, this is the ideal base for a couple looking to explore the local area or simply wanting to relax and unwind.
Set on a farm with 50 acres of land, home to grazing cows and sheep, this property is only a few miles away from a whole host of highlights in Shakespeare’s county of Warwickshire. Warwick is 10 miles away, where visits to Warwick Castle, St. John’s House Museum and Hill Close Gardens are highly recommended. Just 18 miles away is the birthplace of Shakespeare himself, Stratford-upon-Avon, also home to the Royal Shakespeare Company along with Anne Hathaway’s cottage and Holy Trinity Church. For those who love the outdoors, Draycote Water Country Park and Ryton Pool Country Park are within a few miles.
After driving down the private farm road towards your holiday home, park up to the side of the property in one of the allocated spaces. Head on around to the entrance which is via the door on the side of the barn. The property has a ramp to the front door and the doors inside are extra wide, suitable for wheelchair access. As you enter this cosy property you arrive in the open-plan lounge and dining area. The lounge has an L-shaped sofa, which is perfect to relax on after a busy day out exploring, plus a TV so you can catch your favourite show or movie and unwind for the evening. The small kitchen area, just off from the lounge in the hallway, has everything you need to lovingly prepare a light snack or dinner, with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge. Once your meal is ready, serve up at the dining table in the lounge, which can seat up to four guests. Whether you decide to relax in front of the TV or have a bite to eat, the fabulous duck pond provides a fitting backdrop, seen in all its glory through the French doors. Down the hallway is the bedroom, which has plenty of storage space for your belongings along with a TV. Start your day off with a refreshing shower in the wet room with WC which is located off from the lounge.
There is an outside utility area which houses a freezer, washing machine and a tumble dryer for guests to use. The outdoor seating area is accessed via the French doors or the side door. It is fully enclosed, with a large patio area with garden furniture providing the most peaceful of places to enjoy some down time - perhaps with a drink in hand or even some al fresco dining while you watch the sun glisten on the pond and the many fish swim to the surface. There is off-road private parking for up to two cars.
