A quiet ,centrally located, very compact/bijou apartment. The main room contains a small dining area at which two people can be just about seated. There are two central heating panels but the control is outwith the apartment. There is a small wood burning stove, probably about 3Kw output but this is perfectly adequate in such a small volume. of spacRead moree. The rooms are well furnished and all furnishing and fittings are of high quality. The bathroom is compact but shower is first class. Hide

Great wee place with everything you need both in the cottage and in the immediate vicinity. On the street are museums, lovely shops and a great pub. The beach is just one street away. Owner very friendly and helpful and all instructions were very clear. Would definitely recommend both Driftwood and Cromarty.

What can I say? I absolutely loved every minute in the Black Isles and Driftwood was the perfect place to stay. I loved the space and decor. Kitchen was well equipped. Shower worked well - good flow. Everywhere was clean and tidy. I can't wait to revisit as I left part of my heart there.

Good central location makes you feel part of the community. Tastefully decorated retaining much of the original character of the property. Old shelving units proved to be excellent for keeping the relatively compact living area tidy. Relaxing retreat after a long day out.

We got there after shops shut. So a simple supply of the basics - milk, tea, coffee. Luckily got there in time for a takeaway. We drove for 7 hours. We had issues with the tv - the internet kept freezing an watched the same start of the program 3 times. We did actually enjoy not having the tv.

Overall the house was clean, however, the high up areas such as lampshades and shelves need a good dust. Very squeaky bed, when one of us turned the other woke with the noise. Location was perfect.
