Just 1 mile away at Tittesworth Water, there are a variety of water-based activities such as kayaking, canoeing and raft building available. It is also an ideal venue for bird and wildlife watching with two hides. Leek (4 miles) is the nearest market town, ideal for everyday shopping, browsing the plethora of antique shops and a variety of markets. Alton Towers is only 15 miles away and a great fun day out for all. 1.7 miles walking to the nearest pub, the lazy trout.
