This private glamping escape is beautifully designed to maximise space and comfort, with a king-size bed with under-bed storage, a comfy seating area with a breakfast table, and a blacksmith-crafted wood burner to keep things cosy. There is also hanging space in a small wardrobe. The handmade kitchen features a Belfast sink, oak worktops, a fridge with ice compartment, a microwave, and a two-ring electric induction hob. The stylish bathroom has a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, flushing toilet and luxury towels.
The large shepherds' hut is the only holiday let at Hilltop Farm and has its own attractive gravel terrace, with an outdoor storage box for walking shoes, wellies, and rucksacks. Guests have full use of the pretty perennial wildflower paddock that surrounds the hut. You can choose from a host of outdoor seating areas including two Adirondack chairs, a bistro table and chair set and a wooden Lutyens bench, which all offer the perfect summer spot to while away an afternoon, drinking in the views and listening to the curlew and lapwing bird calls when in season; you may even be lucky enough to see the barn owl! There is also private use of an enclosed summer house in the meadow, for extra space to enjoy the views, relax and maybe enjoy a glass of something chilled! Enjoy the BBQ in summer or the warming fire pit on cooler evenings. There is off-road private parking for cars at Hilltop Farm, which is only a few metres away from the Shepherd's Hut.
