For more leisurely exploration, National Trust properties and gardens abound, including Cotehele Mill, family-friendly Morwellham Quay and Port Elliot Gardens (within 12 miles).
Enter this reverse-level turret accommodation and into a spacious hallway with a magnificent spiral staircase, that leads you up into the open-plan living space. On the ground floor, there are two bedrooms, including a good-size bunk bedroom with storage space. The other bedroom is the master super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a twin on request at the time of booking). It features a dressing area, seating space and Smart TV, the perfect place to relax with a good book or watch your favourite programmes. This room also boasts a freestanding bath where you can bubble away after a long day out exploring. There are patio doors leading outside to the terrace from here. Also on this floor is a WC. Head upstairs via the quirky spiral staircase and you will find a lounge/kitchen/dining room, as well as a shower room with WC. The large open-plan space offers contemporary living, with a fully equipped kitchen featuring an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine - everything you could need to cook up a meal or pack up a good lunch. The lounge area offers comfy seating and a Smart TV and has a patio door leading out to a balcony, the perfect spot for relaxing with a cold drink after a long day. There is also a dining table in the centre of the room where the family can sit together and talk about their day over a meal or two.
Outside is a terrace area with garden furniture and a balcony off the lounge. There are also 450 acres of natural grounds to roam. Guests have use of the on-site Health Club. There is private off-road parking for two cars
