This lovingly renovated traditional cottage is in a fantastic location on the Gloucestershire/Worcestershire border with an abundance of walks and stunning Cotswold towns and villages within easy reach.

The peaceful village of Aston Subedge is a wonderful example of countryside living in the Cotswolds with stunning views in an idyllic setting. The National Trust property Dover’s Hill is 2 miles away and can be reached on foot by joining up with the popular Cotswold Way trail. Hidcote, another National Trust property, is 3.5 miles away and has a beautiful arts and crafts garden. Chipping Campden is 2 miles away and is one of the finest towns in the Cotswolds, which is well preserved and full of history whilst boasting great pubs, eateries, and shops. The cottage is 11 miles from Stratford Upon Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Spend a day visiting important historical sites whilst enjoying lovely walks, shopping, and visiting quirky cafes.

After a busy day exploring, head back to the traditional cottage to relax and plan your next adventure. As you step into the property from the courtyard, there is a spacious hallway with a dining area, perfect for a meal with family and friends. Just off the main entrance is the lounge with a comfortable corner sofa, Smart TV, and wood burner (first basket of logs included). Moving back through the hallway you will find the well-equipped kitchen with a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, and washer/dryer. The shower room can also be found on the ground floor and has a shower and WC. Upstairs you will find two double bedrooms. The property has been recently renovated with shutters throughout to ensure privacy as the property is part of the owner’s estate.

There is seating at the front of the property with a table and chairs. The owner has also created a dedicated outdoor space within the orchard 50m away from the cottage. There is a seating area and charcoal BBQ that can be used to dine alfresco. There is a spacious driveway at the entrance to the estate with parking for two cars.

We had a fabulous stay at Pear Tree Cottage.. The cottage is spotlessly clean, very well equipped, tastefully decorated and very homely. Our dogs loved the orchard , having the freedom to run around. The cottage is in a great location to explore the picturesque towns & villages in the surrounding area of the Cotswolds. Sally & Nigel were great hostRead mores and made us feel so welcome . We had the most lovely stay at Pear Tree cottage. It is set in the beautiful grounds of Cottage Farm where Sally and Nigel share the warmest of welcomes. The cottage is so pretty. It is deceptively spacious inside with large bedrooms, lounge and kitchen. It has all the amenities you'd expect with the added bonus that you can order breakfast and/or Read moreafternoon tea hampers from the hosts. These are epic and nearly completely homemade/home grown. Really happy with the stay. It looks exactly as the pictures show. Very dog friendly and beautiful place to take your dog. The owner Sally was very helpful recommending dog walks and restaurants, we had a wonderful meal at their local pub and felt very relaxed.

If you want a location that is a good base, a quiet place, that is clean, if you want to be warm and comfortable sitting in front of a log fire after walking in the Cotswolds, look no further, this cottage is perfect.

Beautiful cottage with so many thoughtful touches. It was cosy, comfortable and perfectly presented. It's extremely well located for many of the Cotswold villages and is close to several fantastic pubs and restaurants. Sally and Nigel are the prefect hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. the cottage is nestled only 5 minute away from both broadway and chipping campden so we can easily find food , drugstore supermarket etc. it has both central heating and a wood burner too which is nice for winter. very suitable for family of 4 travelling to enjoy cotswold area.

What a lovely stay at Pear Tree Cottage - we absolutely loved it. The location was perfect and in close proximity to lots of lovely villages and walks. The house was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. We hope to stay again in the near future!

Such a beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Lovely owners who made us feel very welcome. We stayed for three weeks and the cottage suited us perfectly. We had a lovely stay and can't recommend it highly enough. Flowers and biscuits on arrival were a lovely touch. We look forward to staying again sometime.
