This charming first-floor apartment is the perfect romantic bolthole for couples to return to after a day out walking or exploring.

Nestled in the village of Holmbridge, just a stone’s throw from a convenience store and traditional country pub, this stylish apartment provides the ideal base for a couple. Surrounded by the rolling hills of the Pennines, set in the heart of the beautiful Holme Valley, the area is a paradise for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. There is a multitude of walks and cycle trails from the village and the stunning Peak District National Park is within easy reach. The bustling village of Holmfirth is just 1 mile away. Here you can browse a wealth of quirky shops and eateries or enjoy your favourite tipple in one of the many independent pubs and microbreweries.

Step through a private door into an entrance hall, perfect for wiping muddy paws after a day of exploring. Eight steps lead up to the spacious first-floor apartment, lovingly decorated to provide a bright yet cosy and homely aesthetic, and into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The room is welcoming and spacious, with a comfortable living space featuring a sofa and Smart TV. There is also a dining area with seating for two - the perfect spot for a romantic meal cooked in the kitchen. Here you will find an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and a dishwasher. Along the hallway is a beautifully decorated bedroom with a king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as 2’6” twins on request). Completing the apartment is a stylish bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.

Heading outside, to the left of the property you will find a private parking space for one car. In the corner is a quaint bistro table with lovely views over the rolling hills that surround the property.

Joiners place was a really comfortable home from home. Well situated for walks without any real need to take the car. Going out to eat was also easy with the Pickled Pheasant 10 mins walk down the road, and Holmfirth just 25 mins walk away, lots of dog friendly places as well. Lovely, clean, spacious flat, bonus having allocated parking. Good location and in easy walking distance to Holmfirth, about 20 minutes walk along main road and other lovely walks. Local pubs - The Stumble Inn, The Pickled Pheasant and The Farmers Arms, all friendly and welcoming. Would recommend and wouldnt hesitate in booking again.

Well maintained clean property with everything required for a stay in Holmfirth. Easy access to local bus service and local pub within minutes of the property. Lots of varying distance walks of different difficulty levels also easily accessible! Great property.

We enjoyed a short stay in this apartment between Christmas and New Year. Fortunately we found it to be a very nice, clean place to stay as we experienced very wet weather during our visit. It is well positioned for walking in the locality and the town of Holmfirth is lovely.

Had a nice relaxing stay in this cottage it was clean and comfortable,there where various contacts points for the owners and caretakers had we had any problems.I would definitely recommend this cottage it is great for exploring the area

A really nice apartment spotless clean, very modern kitchen and bathroom, very comfortable bed. Certainly recommend this property for a couple and also our dog Alfie found it very comfortable. If you dont want to drive to Holmfirth (10mins) there is a regular bus service till around 10pm. Perfect stay at this accommodation. Great location, a 20 minute walk into Holmfirth village with shops and lovely eateries, amazing views and lovely local walks nearby and lots of lovely places a short drive away. A very comfortable stay, I really loved this little home away from home for my weeks stay here.

A very clean , comfortable place to stay . Lovely friendly local pub next door , visited another recommended local pub for lunch , the fleece in Holme , its was very good ! The description of the property on your website is misleading because it doesnt mention that the property is on a very busy main road, hence the very noisy traffic noise and rowdy people at the pub next door. It was very noisy most nights.

Absolutely amazing flat - completely spotless on arrival, towels, linen etc pristine & available. Good kitchen, kettle & water makes a great tea too. Warm, & comfortable, the bed is really comfy too. Had a lovely few days at Joiners place. Weather helped. Cottage clean and comfortable and everything we needed. Bed very comfortable and smelt lovely.
