The region of Silverdale is one of beauty and full of wildlife and has the standing of AONB. There is plenty on offer in this glorious location for everyone. A little further out is the charming market town of Kirkby Lonsdale with its cobbled streets and Ruskin’s View, which is a superb viewpoint overlooking the Lune Valley. Venture into the world-famous Lake District (9 miles) to embark on fell walks and lakeside expeditions. Similarly, the brink of the Yorkshire Dales National Park can be found just 13.5 miles from home and is renowned for its rugged landscapes and unbeatable walking routes.
Kick off your shoes and head into the open-plan living area of this historic cottage. First off is the lounge which you will not want to leave with sofas and armchairs surrounding the electric effect burner and Smart TV, perfect for any point of the day to relax in. Tucked away in the corner is the dining area with oak seating and a table. The open-plan kitchen is an inviting space to create some homecooked food to enjoy together or treats to take out for a day exploring the area. Heading upstairs is the double bedroom followed by the family room bathroom and a twin room.
Outside, there are shared grounds with a courtyard, sitting-out area, garden furniture and BBQ. There is also an enclosed field for dogs.
