This beautiful property is set in a peaceful location next to Glencruitten Golf Club and the forest. Oban is only 1 mile away and boasts an excellent range of independent and bespoke shops, friendly inns and quality eateries which strengthens its reputation as the 'Seafood Capital of Scotland’. Oban is known for its whisky, and you can take a guided tour of the Oban Distillery to learn about the whisky-making process and enjoy a tasting session. Atlantis Leisure Centre (2 miles) has a swimming pool, a gym, squash courts, a climbing cube, tennis and a children’s soft play area and is perfect for keeping children entertained. Visit the historic McCaig's Tower (2 miles) and enjoy the panoramic views over the bay or enjoy a wildlife boat trip and spot puffins, seals, sea eagles and perhaps even whales. Ferries from Oban link with Mull and other islands in the Inner Hebrides. Oban is the perfect place to base yourself for any Scottish adventure.

On a sunny day open the door to the rear garden where there’s a seating area. We were SOOO happy with our choice! Great location (about 20 min walk into Oban), very quiet, very clean, interior was beautiful and very cosy. The accommodation is absolutely top notch, finished to perfection, with every need catered for, we've stayed at some lovely places across the world and this is up there in the top 3, if it was possible to give 10 stars out if 5, it would get it, a very big positive for us taking my elderly Mum is that it all completely flat so for anyone unfirm on Read moretheir feet it's perfect. The published pictures pictures do not really do full justice to the cottage. We found the quality of the furniture and fittings might perhaps be evident in the pictures, but the they do not do full credit to the generous use of space, spotless and rigorous upkeep, full digital connectivity, comfort and comprehensive anticipation of the needs and pRead morereferences of the clientele. Wonderful cottage. Clean, spacious, neutral decor. Well equipped, and very comfortable. Only one downside, elderly mother found it difficult to walk around the garden, which was gravelled.

We travel a lot both abroad and in the UK and Rowantree is one of the best rental properties we have stayed in. It is immaculately clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is perfect for Oban and surrounding areas. Communication from the owner was excellent We would highly recommend Rowantree.

It is a beautiful cottage it a quiet location and within a short walk of the centre of Oban. A very well equipped, comfortable and roomy cottage. We have no hesitation in recommending it and would certainly love to return.

A wonderful place to stay. The owners have provided everything you could possibly need. Everywhere is spotless and very very comfortable. It's in a great location with an easy 20 minute walk into town and a 5 taxi ride home. Loved our stay there, it's the best holiday cottage we have ever rented

This property was spotless and very well appointed. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could want along with a huge dining table. There is a gas pizza oven/bbq in the private garden with seating for four outside and picnic bench. The bathrooms were clean and modern, one with a bath and overhead shower and the other with a walk inRead more shower. You can walk into Oban down the hill or a few minutes drive. Great quiet location, easy short walk into town. Also pleasant rural surroundings to explore by foot. The cottage was perfect, furnished to the highest standard. All our needs and wishes were more than fulfilled. We hope to be back the next time we're in Scotland.

Had a lovely week as a group of 4.It was 20 minutes walk to Oban and a taxi home at night was 6 and easy to get.The accommodation was excellent. So clean and comfortable and the owners had thought of everything. The guest information book was brilliant. Would love to return some time in the future.

I would be very happy to keep this gem to myself, but that wouldnt be fair on the owners who have put every effort into this fantastic cottage. Its rated 4 stars on the website, I dont know what you have to do to get 5 but it has everything you need for a very comfortable stay away from home. The quality of the fixtures and fittings makes the propeRead morerty feel expensive and the location just on the edge of the golf course make it feel rural but its an accessible walk into town. Faultless! The cottage is beautiful and has everything all of the highest quality. Probably the best holiday cottage we have stayed in. Even the kitchen knives were sharp - a rarety in holiday homes! Quiet location but within walking distance of the town center with shops, restaurants ect. Very helpful, friendly owner.
