Corky is a lovely place to stay. We got lucky with the weather and enjoyed every minute! Kate, Beatrice, Larry and Olga were all super kind and helpful. We have a slightly reactive dog and this place was fantastic.

For the price the accommodation is fine. Location out of this world, a walkers paradise, beautiful view across gently undulating farm and park land. Sitting out on the patio I really felt I was getting away from the worlds madding crowds. The main building has a grand piano, a surprise extra, lovely sound, which the owners kindly allowed me to playRead more. I can also highly recommend the 'Bell Inn', just down the road in Gumley. Excellent food and prompt service with a smile. Hide

We loved the accommodation and Kate was very helpful with recommendations of walks and places to eat. The area is very beautiful and we had great weather while we were there. We also had our dog with us and there was a welcome box for him and homemade cookies for us. Thanks for a great stay.

What a lovely little stay in the cabin. Cosy, lovely to relax in. Nice walking (although treacherous country roads) to be had around, Foxton Locks within a good walks reach. The little touches here were so lovely, too. The hosts made sure it was clean, smelled good, and provided some tea, coffee, sugar and even milk and cookies. The little box for Read morethe dog was lovely and the hot tub was amazing. We hope to visit again, it was so relaxing! Hide

Really good location for getting away from it all. Although a TV would have been better than the projector. The second bedroom was a tad cold due to no heater in that room. Loads of walks and places to visit. I lived in Leicester so it was good to get away for a break. Don't forget to take some milk as the nearest shop is in Fleckney. Great for FoxRead moreton Locks. RIII Museum. Just sit back and enjoy the sheep and cows!! Hide

Lovely, comfortable, cosy cabin. Tastefully decorated with sumptuous bedding and soft furnishings. Hosts were really helpful, with useful tips and advice for exploring the area and made sure the cabin and hot tub were heated up before we arrived.
