Within a captivating, verdant setting at the foot of the Quantock Hills, just a ten minute walk from the beach, approached through a private entrance shared with the owner's adjoining property, a warm welcome awaits but privacy is assured. This peaceful cottage is interrupted only by the strains of birdsong. The village has a Pub, Post Office and general store just a minute's walk away. It also has a wonderful rock beach with a tea room, located less than a miles walk away, and is a haven for rock poolers, anglers and fossil finders. The nearby larger village of Williton, 5 miles away, has a range of stores, banks, a restaurant and several pubs. The property has a peaceful rural outlook, providing an ideal centre for walkers, with the spectacular Quantock Hills, the first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in England, with the South West Path and Coleridge Way also on the doorstep. It provides the perfect base for experiencing the delights of West Somerset; its scenic coast, rural villages, medieval Dunster, historic Nether Stowey, the steam railway and the seaside town of Minehead (gateway to Exmoor), with Clarks Village, Wells, Cheddar Gorge and the county town of Taunton a little further afield.
On entering the property, by two steps a spacious kitchen/diner, with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine and ample seating around the table. Lounge: comfy seating, Sky TV (movie and sports package) DVD and hi-fi. The accommodation upstairs has to offer one large double bedroom and one twin bedroom which is suitable for children aged up to 10-11yrs, due to the smaller sized single beds. Bathroom: shower over bath and WC. Outside: small enclosed garden with seating and a swing suitable for a toddler. There is also an area opposite the main house where there is a meadow if people wish to walk their 4 legged friends.
