A perfect haven for couples seeking a quiet retreat, this beautiful property is set in a peaceful location just 2 miles inland from the historic town of Oban. The town centre is less than a 10-minute drive away, and offers an excellent range of independent shops, friendly inns and eateries, and is known as the 'Seafood Capital of Scotland’. Oban is also known for its whiskey, and you can take a guided tour of the Oban Distillery (2 miles) to learn about the whiskey-making process and enjoy a tasting session. Discover the history of the area by visiting the Dunollie Museum and Castle (2.5 miles) where you can explore the castle ruins and its beautiful grounds, or visit the historic McCaig's Tower (2 miles) to enjoy the panoramic views over the bay. Oban is the perfect place to base yourself for any Scottish adventure and serves as a gateway to the nearby islands, so consider taking a boat trip to explore the beauty of Mull, Iona, and Staffa.

As you step inside, you'll immediately be struck by the open-plan living space that maximises the views outside. The spacious interior has been designed to create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, with simple furnishings and natural materials that blend seamlessly with the surroundings. The living area is filled with natural light, thanks to the large windows and patio doors leading to the decking. Relax in the comfortable lounge area where you can watch a movie on the Smart TV or look out to the garden. The kitchen is fully equipped with contemporary appliances, so you can whip up delicious meals which can be enjoyed from the small dining table beside the window. The bedroom features a comfortable and inviting king-size bed, made handy by the nearby shower room for couples to stay refreshed after a day in the elements.

If youre looking for a cosy place for 2, the Stable is a great place to stay in Oban. Its quiet and away from the busy town centre. We often would walk 20 minutes into the harbour area for food and it was particularly good if youre going as a passenger to Mull, so you didnt have to pay for parking. The Stables is excellent if self catering, and hasRead more all you need. We loved it. Hide
