This was a last minute decision and the area was recommended by a few friends. I absolutely fell in love with Bembridge. The cottage was just far enough out of the village to be totally peaceful but only a 5 minute walk if I wanted anything. I spent almost the entire week walking along quiet paths, beaches and streets. I was amazed at the path netwRead moreorks. I ate out every lunchtime and Cafe No. 8 drew me back 3 times - good food, friendly staff and great coffee. I'm hoping to return soon. Hide

A perfect retreat in a stunning location. Met by hosts on arrival and made to feel at home straight away, with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. We both adore the Isle of Wight and this was the best trip we've both had so far. Bembridge is a perfect base to explore the island and cottage is a small walk away from nearest bus stop. What a fantastic cottage / bungalow, in a perfect location. So comfortable & peaceful. Ideal for walks, with the village shops just a short walk away. The Isle of Wight has so much to offer, I would definitely visit again A++++

Fairview is a lovely cottage, clean, homely and in first class decorative order. Lovely view over the field with the cattle. Nic and her husband were both first class hosts. It says something about our stay here when the only thing to moan about was a clock that ticked too loudly! It was utter bliss, we felt at home from the moment we walked through the door. Perfect location on the edge of town, and the most beautiful beach about a mile away (around the lifeboat station). Superb cottage for a couple. Very light, spacious, quiet and private with a lovely little patio overlooking fields. Comfy king size bed and the whole place very well furnished and equipped. Good local shops about a 10min walk away. Great location for visiting the eastern side of the island including the Steam Railway.

What a little gem! Everything was lovely, patio in the sun, cows in the field, a lovely location with friendly locals. We had such a wonderful time, and would most certainly book to stay here again.
