Perfect for walkers, cyclists, climbers, and nature lovers, the cottage serves as a great base to explore the NC500, and Strathconon Estate is 16 miles away. Enjoy easy access to scenic trails leading to Little Garve Bridge, Waterfalls, Rogie Falls, and Contin Forest, all within 6 miles. Discover the breathtaking variety of walks around Inverness, Strathconon and the Corrieshalloch Gorge, all within 26 miles. Wildlife enthusiasts will love spotting wild red deer in Strathconon Glen (16.5 miles) and visiting the red kite reserve at Tollie (11.5 miles), or dolphin watching on the Moray Firth. Head towards Plockton by railway and take in the scenery, with regular trains from the village.

This charming property offers a touch of elegance mixed with homely comforts for your stay, ideal for a relaxing holiday. As you approach the cottage, you are greeted by a quaint entrance hall. This inviting space, with its warm décor and rustic touches, sets the tone for the rest of the home. To your right, you’ll find the spacious lounge. This room features a modern wood burner, providing both warmth and a cosy ambiance. The lounge is tastefully decorated with comfortable seating, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Large windows allow natural light to flood the room, enhancing its airy feel. Moving through the lounge, you enter the large dining room with plenty of seating and a desk if you need to keep in touch with work whilst you are away. Adjacent to the dining room is the modern, fully equipped kitchen. It offers ample counter space and storage, making meal preparation a breeze. From the kitchen, you can access the enclosed garden area. Heading upstairs, you will find two enchanting bedrooms. The first bedroom features a king-size bed, while the second offers a comfortable double bed. Both bedrooms are designed with comfort in mind, ensuring a restful sleep. Traditional shutter-style windows add a charming touch and can keep the light out, allowing you to sleep in. The spacious shower room is also located upstairs and combines functionality with style, offering a refreshing space to start your day.

Outside there is a large, enclosed garden area with a fixed wooden gazebo over sheltered dining area and a stone fire pit perfect for an evening drink by the fire. The garden is a tranquil spot, perfect for relaxation with a large, grassed area which is great for children and garden games. You will find the village path at the end of the garden which leads directly to the walks in the area and the Black Water River, which is fenced.
