Lovely little hut, perfect for a weekend away or as a retreat from the busy city. The owners were lovely people and the property is gorgeous. Lovely hut for 2 on a farm just outside of windermere. Walkable to the windemere lake or drivable by matter of minutes. Lovely host made sure we were kept warm with snow covering the lakes while we stayed. The farm also has 2 cottages on site which were offered to us for our next trip. Will definitely be using the hut again or the cottages for anotRead moreher holiday. Hide

The most beautifully warm little cabin, for a stripped back, no frills stay based in the heart of the lakes. Perfect for a couple who value space to be calming, peaceful and meditative, with a cheery little wood fired stove cackling away and a small babbling burn outside. Bliss.
