Enjoy a comfortable stay at this homely, one-bedroom cottage in the attractive North Norfolk village of Burnham Market. Sleeping two guests and one dog, the inviting abode, which is attached to the owner’s home but enjoys its privacy, could be perfect for a couple keen to enjoy a break with a canine companion. The location of the cottage, which comes with two private, outdoor seating areas, makes it ideal for anyone wishing to walk a stretch of the Norfolk Coast Path from Burnham Overy Staithe, 1.5 miles away, or visit the nature reserves of RSPB Titchwell Marsh, 6 miles away, and Holkham, 4 miles away. For days on a sandy beach, try Brancaster, 5.5 miles away, with its rolling dunes.

Open the door to the annexe and stroll inside to make yourselves at home. You have a modern kitchen with plenty of space for storing and preparing the tasty local produce you have sourced in the village and at other nearby outlets. This room is also equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, and washing machine. Prepare meals for two in here on those nights you feel like staying in. Dine together at the table through in the lounge/diner, where you can also unwind on the comfortable seating in front of the TV and the wood burner-effect electric fire. When you are ready to turn in for the night, head through to the double bedroom which has French doors that open onto a south-facing patio, where you can enjoy coffee in the morning. The annexe has a shower room with a WC.

Choose where to sit out on fine sunny days; you have both a small rear patio with chairs, overlooking the owner’s large garden and with the open countryside beyond, and a compact fenced gravelled area to the front, with a three-piece bistro set. There is parking for one car at this cottage.

The cottage was in a great location, only a short walk into the village shops. As for the accommodation we could not fault anything. The owner Joy even left a welcome tray for us and some biscuit treats for our dog. Joy could not have made our stay any more enjoyable, couldn't recommend this cottage highly enough. A superb stay for us and our dog.

A small but really excellent property. Everything was too hand and switches labelled, which was helpful. An adequate supply of crockery, knives and forks. Lovely view from the bedroom of a large lawn with plenty of shrubs. We had several visits from Tally, the owners Beagle. Lovely friendly dog. Although our visit was a short one we soon felt at hoRead moreme. The property is just a short walk from Burnham Market. An easy drive to Wells or Hunstanton. The owner, Joy, was pleasant and friendly. No hesitation in recommending this property. Great place to stay. Hide

Nice neutral place to stay. Very clean and everything we could need. Outside area very small but adequate. Host was a lovely lady who was very helpful and accommodating. Lovely and quiet too considering how busy the village was. Quite expensive for a 3 night stay. The extras for the dog and insurance added quite a bit to the cost.

Lovely little place for two people. Joy the owner was on hand for any problems but was also very discreet. Would recommend for a couple looking for a nice comfortable and cosy place to stay in Norfolk.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Annexe, which had everything needed for the holiday and a warm welcome from the owner. Burnham Market is an interesting place, with lots of local walks and a regular and reliable bus service for visits further afield if youd like to leave the car behind.
