Discover the unique beauty of the area surrounding this glamping pod. With an abundance of nature walks from your doorstep, as well as Bodmin Moor close by, this is an enchanting destination where rugged landscapes meet rich history in the heart of Cornwall. Immerse yourself in the serenity of the moor, with its rolling hills, ancient stone circles and breathtaking vistas. Launceston (8.5 miles) is the perfect base for exploring Cornwall's secrets, with not only plentiful moorland close by but also coastline, as you are only 8 miles away from Crackington Haven Beach – bring your surfboard along for more adventure! Travel 12 miles west and you'll find Tintagel Castle, steeped in Arthurian legend, and the dramatic cliffs of the North Cornwall coast. You will also find Boscastle Harbour just 9 miles away, perfect for a day on the coast, finished with a cream tea in one of the quaint cafes afterwards.

This handmade glamping pod is located on the lake and offers a warm and cosy welcome. A set of steps offers access to the main body of the hut where guests can relax and unwind. Beautifully finished by the owner, the open-plan living space includes a kitchenette with a two-ring gas hob and a mini sink and fridge. You also have a 4'6" double bed for a great night's sleep. If you don't fancy cooking every night, the owners run a small farm and make homemade pasties and their very own ice cream, and for a small charge, they can deliver these down to you. There is an external shower room with a WC.

Outside, you will find a stunning wood-fired hot tub to sit and unwind in whilst listening to the sounds of the plentiful wildlife that frequents the lake. There is a table and chairs for dining, along with a fire pit which is great for toasting marshmallows and enjoying the plentiful stars at night. If you fancy some relaxing and rejuvenating yoga lessons, the owner is a qualified yoga teacher and can offer yoga classes on your very own private deck.

A truly lovely find! If you want nature and peace and quiet then this is the place. Met with homemade Cornish pasties, fresh eggs and a pre heated wood fired hot tub, once the hosts (handily just a call away if needed) had taken our baggage to the cabin, we were left to nature! No road noise just birds and the occasional moo. Secluded and peacefuRead morel and more importantly a proper comfortable bed! A place I would happily return to. Hide
