One of four barns situated on the owner’s coastal farm, where they are keen to preserve and protect nature and the environment. Sitting on North Devon’s beautiful coastline with ocean views and rolling fields, it’s no wonder this area is an AONB. Only 3 miles from the sandy beach at Westward Ho! which has cafes, shops, and typical seaside activities. You’ll find exhilarating walks directly from your doorstep. Uncover the grassy plain of Northam Burrows Country Park (4.5 miles) before heading over to the South West Coast Path, or discover the cobbled streets of Clovelly (10 miles). Winding lanes take you to Appledore (5 miles) where you can visit the maritime museum, marvel at the rows of pastel-coloured houses or enjoy a spot of crabbing. The historic port town of Bideford is just 3 miles distant, where you can soak up views of the river Torridge. Other places to visit include Tapeley Park Gardens (5 miles) and the gardens at RHS Rosemoor (11 miles).

After a day spent walking or other coastal activities, the bright and spacious open-plan interior of this barn will welcome you. Exposed beams add character and high ceilings give the feeling of space, the underfloor heating keeps you toasty warm enabling you to cosy up on the sofa. Enjoy the sea views and keep an eye out for kestrels and buzzards soaring overhead. In the evenings watch a favourite on the TV whilst relaxing with a drink or a good book, cook up something tasty in the kitchen, or a stroll to the local pub, serving delicious food, is always an option. The clever storage area divides the living and dining space from the bedroom, and you can swivel the wall-mounted Smart TV around to watch from the bed too. The bedroom area has a super-king-size zip-and-link bed that can be made into twins if required. This area also enjoys sea views. The stylish en-suite shower room with a large shower enclosure completes the accommodation.

Heading outside, sliding patio doors open out from the living space to the large, enclosed garden with panoramic ocean views. Garden furniture on the patio leads onto a stretch of lawn. On warm evenings, light the BBQ and dine alfresco whilst watching the spectacular sunsets.

Amazing views, the cottage is well equipped, we stayed for 4 nights and despite Storm Darragh blowing us away the cottage was warm and cosy. This is a lovely little property. Brilliantly designed to make the most out of a small space but it doesn't feel small. We had horrendous 15 hour drive and arrived at 23.45 so I can guarantee the instructions for finding property spot on! After a very good night's sleep in an extremely comfy bed. We spoke to the glorious views and enjoyed, even atRead more end of October, sitting on the patio with a cup of coffee gazing out to see in the quietness that is Green cliffs. We went on lovely walks, bird watching and ate some delicious fish and chips. Definitely one of the best holidays we've had. Thank you and we'll be back. Hide

Brilliant location stunning views in a gorgeous cottage with a footpath to the coastal path virtually on the doorstep. Really good insulation against the wind and our dog loved the secure garden. Good parking and easy access not too far from the main road. Really comfy bed, great appliances. Thank you very much.
