Water sports enthusiasts will love Wimbleball Lake (7.4 miles) for kayaking, paddleboarding and dinghy sailing. The West Somerset Railway Station, (Williton station 11 miles), provides a wonderful day out on its 20 miles of track to Minehead, passing through scenic countryside and coastline. Dunster, with its medieval village, castle, woods, and parkland (15 miles), is the perfect outing with your four-legged friend! There are also plenty of excellent local pubs within easy reach, the closest being 2.5 miles.

This light and airy bedroom has a super king-size zip-and-link bed, that can be turned into two single beds (please request this at the time of booking), and enjoys countryside views. The property is attached to the main house, but benefits from a private entrance and fully enclosed garden. There is a secluded courtyard where you will find a dining table and chairs, so you can relax with your morning coffee or evening drinks. A few steps up takes you to a large, south facing, enclosed lawn and parking area with outstanding views, where you can relax without the worry of your four-legged friends roaming.
