For a dreamy Welsh holiday either solo or with your partner, stay at this countryside escape on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. You’ll have a wealth of walking opportunities from your front door, with a rugged landscape to explore including landmarks like the famous Sugar Loaf (100 meters) and The Skirrid (3.5 miles), where a woodland walk leads to a thrilling mountain climb. Nearby Crickhowell (8 miles) offers a charming independent high street – fantastic for relaxed coffees, souvenir shopping and gentle strolls. Mountain bikers will surely make a beeline for Mynddu Forest (8 miles) – or you could try out some water sports at the glorious Llangorse Lake (18.5 miles). The World Heritage Centre at Blaenavon (9 miles) and the peaceful Brecon Canal (7 miles) are also local tourist hubs offering plenty of opportunity for learning and exploration.
This attractive single-storey pod is made from stylish bare wood, with wooden flooring, LED spot lights throughout, and has characterful curved walls in all the rooms. It’s laid out in a neat quad shape, with its four rooms all small but perfectly formed. You’ll enter straight into the kitchen, which has a fridge, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and toaster for preparing a simple snack (or you could always just eat at the pub!). Following on from the kitchen is a shower room with a lovely, heated towel rail. On the left-hand side of the property, you have a lounge area with a sofa, along with a sweet double bedroom at the back.
Head outside and explore the delightful, shared garden and enjoy a picnic on the benches with views out onto a working sheep farm The two neighbouring pods, parking area and pub are all accessible via the shared pathway.
