For a truly memorable stay with your loved one, stay at this lodge-style accommodation in the rolling Radnorshire countryside in Wales. You’ll be in a rural spot that’s excellent for stargazing and nature spotting. The property is 0.5 miles from the tiny village of Llandegley and 1.5 miles from Penybont, where you’ll find a pub and shop. You may choose to visit the National Cycle Museum at Llandrindod Wells (7 miles) or explore the dams and reservoirs of the Elan Valley (14.5 miles). For mile upon mile of remarkable scenery, head 15 miles north to reach the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or the Brecon Beacons National Park, 23 miles to the south.
You’ll reach the property up three wooden steps leading to the decked area and front door. You can leave your muddy shoes in the boot room before entering into the open-plan living area, a carpeted space with a two-seater sofa and a TV. This leads to a small but perfectly formed kitchen with attractive blue units and a breakfast-bar-style dining space with two bar stools. There’s a cosy bedroom with wooden furniture, and a shower room with a walk-in shower completes the layout of this quirky property.
The hot tub is outside on the raised decking, which is also equipped with some easy chairs for lapping up the sunlight. There’s a large fenced lawn with a picnic table for meals alfresco, and beyond this 10 more acres of shared land that’s great for walking and fishing.
