An inviting apartment, set within a handsome stone building that was once a weaver’s barn, this holiday haven makes a wonderful, romantic retreat. Sleeping two guests, the one-bedroom property, which is dog friendly, is in a great location for exhilarating country walks and long bike rides. Pick up the Pennine Way, which runs right through the farmland surrounding this holiday home, or plan a trip into the magnificent Yorkshire Dales, which begins 8 miles from the property, to follow footpaths and trails there. Visit Skipton, 7 miles away, to potter in its independent shops and dine out, and head to Malham, 16.5 miles away in the national park, to see the impressive limestone cove and spend time at the tarn.
Make your way into your private apartment at ground-floor level, where there is a small entrance hall, with space to hang coats and leave walking boots, then take the stairs up to the first floor. Wander in to find you have an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can unwind after your energetic trips out. Watch the TV in here, prepare romantic meals for two in the kitchen area, then sit down to dine at the table together. When eyelids start to droop, wander through to the comfortable double bedroom, which has an en-suite shower room.
Sit out in the sunshine on the shared south-facing patio and take in the beautiful views. Cook supper on the BBQ out here if you choose or relax with a glass of wine or cup of tea. Guests at the apartment have use of a shared laundry room and lockable barn for cycle storage.
