This converted stone barn is at the end of a row of three similar properties and is surrounded by spectacular countryside. Scenic country and coastal walks leave from your door including to the picturesque smugglers’ cove at Heddon’s Mouth, 2 miles away, and the sand, rock and shingle cove of Combe Martin is 5 miles. Head to the beaches of the North Devon Golden Coast including Woolacombe (16 miles) and Croyde (20 miles) for good surfing or if you fancy some retail therapy, historic market towns including Barnstaple (15 miles) and South Molton (20 miles) are great places for shopping.
The front entrance of the cottage leads directly into a good size open-plan living/dining room with the original low ceilings (6’6”) and a steep open-tread staircase to the first floor. A well-equipped kitchen area has all you need to rustle up cosy meals around the dining table and a utility room shared with the other two properties has a washer/dryer and ironing board. The attractive double bedroom on the first floor has lovely country views and an adjacent bathroom.
A sheltered private garden area outside the property is the perfect place for a morning coffee while you plan your day - or perhaps an alfresco meal after a busy day exploring. You also have the use of a large shared garden, which has picnic tables in various scenic spots.
